    Bluetooth disconnects when the computer goes to sleep.


    Hi!My Bluetooth is disconnecting every time my computer goes to sleep. The only way to get it back it to restarts the actual computer and when booting up the Bluetooth disconnects again. Does anyone know why this is happening? Cheers, Arthur

    Bluetooth will not connect when the PC wakes up from sleep on Windows 10.

    You mentioned that Bluetooth isn't working only if the computer have just been activated after sleep. To further isolate the issue, we suggest that you turn off hibernation. Follow this step by step instructions:

    • Right click on the Start Menu button, and choose Command Prompt (Admin)
    • Enter the following line: powercfg /h off
    • Press Enter.

    I suggest you to follow the steps provided below if not tried already and check if it helps.

    • Navigate to Start>Settings>System>Power & sleep.
    • In the right pane, select Never from the drop down list for
      Screen       and Sleep.
    • Close the dialog box and check for status.

    Maybe you have something configured to sleep when idle. Check that on your power settings.
