I use a USB Realtek Bluetooth Driver Realtek Bluetooth 5.0 Adapter because my mobo doesn't have integrated BT, but after a Windows Update or two ago I noticed that the driver just doesn't start on launch like it should. When I check properties in Device Manager its status comes up as something along the lines of "The device could not start because it encountered problems." It's incredibly vague but it works again after I uninstall/reinstall it from Device Manager and recently found that just updating the driver via "Let me pick from available drivers on my computer" also kicks it into workin

  4. Bluetooth driver always broken on startup, have to "reinstall" via updating the driver thru...

    Missing Bluetooth Driver

Early today my Bluetooth suddenly disappeared, so I went through some steps to try and fix it. I did the following:

    - Changed the Bluetooth Support Service to automatically startup.

    - Bluetooth troubleshot, which simply said Bluetooth was not a feature on my system, despite it working a few hours earlier.

    - I scanned the drivers for updates, which they said they all were.

    - And finally, I try uninstalling and reinstalling the Bluetooth driver. However, the driver has not automatically reinstalled like the tutorial said it would. I have restarted, scanned for changes, scanned for updates, and it is simply gone.

Am I missing a step, all the "official" Bluetooth drivers seem like they originate from sketchy sites and I don't want to download malware or something similar.
