Bluetooth Drivers are completely gone and I can't reinstall.

For some reason, bluetooth said it was disabled and I couldnt connect any devices. It wouldn't let me turn it on at all, so i uninstalled the "generic Bluetooth radio" driver to reinstall and see if that fixed it. I now realize I was dumb and I can't reinstall the bluetooth adapter.I've tried tons of fixes. Nothing bluetooth related even shows up on device manager anymore. What do I do? I need bluetooth back and I'm not very smart with computer stuff. Custom built PC but I didn't make it and the person who did barely remembers anything about it so i'm clueless. SpecsBluetooth Drivers are completely gone and I can't reinstall. :processor - AMD Ryzen 5 260

Windows Updated(16299.309).KB4088776 Restart is required to complete.

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.

Thanks for the suggestions and for the time to respond Bluetooth Drivers are completely gone and I can't reinstall. :) Best regards.

And thanks for the tip of that program, I'll have it on my list.

Bluetooth Drivers are completely gone and I can't reinstall.

    Bluetooth on/off i.e. drivers gone

Tried to watch movie & listen on Sonos Move via Bluetooth. Worked a minute, then stopped. Connected ok, but just no sound. Went through all steps of disconnect reconnect, windows reboot (troubleshooter for Bluetooth & Audio & Hardware & Devices), tried setting as default device, updating drivers etc etc.

Similar with Sonos Roam SL, but waited 'til halfway through movie then stopped working. Sonos work fine on mobile phones. When connecting to Surface Go, similar problems, just in reverse. On the Asus, did full format & reinstall of windows (It's a good 9 years old).... same problem.

Asked Google, found something called Auslogics Driver Updater & used the free version to try & update drivers........ now Bluetooth cannot be turned on or off, it's like the software removed any recognition of that hardware at all!! So again formatted windows & started again.... but bluetooth is still gone! Any suggestions?
