    Here's how to connect your Bluetooth earbuds to your PC. It's mostly about Bluetooth, rather than Windows. And if you were hoping the process would be simple and obvious ... guess what? It's not.

    Bluetooth is actually a wireless network technology, very similar to WiFi. What you have are actually
    Bluetooth-enabled earbuds, because they have the ability to connect to a Bluetooth network.

    The unique thing about a Bluetooth network is that the network exists only between your Bluetooth-enabled earbuds and the Bluetooth adapter in your computer. That makes a Bluetooth network more secure than a WiFi network, because anyone can join a WiFi network.

    Get ready, here we go:

    Step #1: Make your Bluetooth devices discoverable: Put your earbuds and your Bluetooth adapter into discovery mode. That's like joining a dating website - you've made yourself discoverable to other people. The instructions that came with your earbuds
    should say how to put them into discovery mode. Putting your Bluetooth adapter into discovery mode is a two-part process:

    • Go to Start > Settings > Devices > Bluetooth and other devices and add your computer's Bluetooth adapter as a 'device.'

    Please don't tell me to reset the earbuds I have done it a dozen times already.

    Hardware: Processor 11th Gen Intel Core i7-11700T @ 1.4GHz, 32Mb RAM

    Bluetooth Qualcomm QCA61x4A driver - running bluetooth HCI 9.0/LMP 9.602 bluetooth version 5

    Symptom: Earbuds connect but then sound only plays for 1.5s on the left ear then nothing for 4 seconds then cycle repeats. If I put the right earbud back in the charger the left earbud plays normally.

    Now if I do nothing but disconnect the bluetooth and fire up bluetooth on my IPhone 7Plus - i.e., bluetooth v4.2 the earbuds work fine.

    The supplier replied "Good to know that your earbuds are working fine on the iPhone. I consulted our development department and thought that the problem may also be related to the compatibility of your computer. We updated the T12 firmware for the listed version of Windows 11 through communication with Microsoft, but not sure if your version of Windows 11 pro will work. You can check with Microsoft's customer service to see if there are any settings that need to be changed for normal use. Your case is very special as we have never had such feedback after updating the Windows 11 firmware"

    Any suggestions out there on what the "settings" are that could be causing this issue - it's almost like bluetooth is polling two channels but not sending on one.
