Windows 10: bluetooth generac radio not working

i have connected a ps3 controller with drivers on pc when i did that i noticed my bluetooth dongle was not working it was fine before . i did troubleshooting, my drivers are updated but it still says driver error i wanted to connect the controller via bluetooth when this happened can someone piz help me thank you

I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if it helps.

Method 1: Troubleshoot

Windows 10 has a built-in troubleshooter to check and fix issues with hardware and devices. I would suggest you to run this troubleshooter to check if the issue is with device. Refer these steps:

• Press Windows key +X, select Control panel.
• Change the view by option on the top right to Large icons.
• Click on troubleshooting and click on the view all option on the left panel.
• Run the Hardware and devices troubleshooter.

Method 2: I suggest you to update the Bluetooth drivers from the manufacturer web site. If the issue persist uninstall and reinstall the drivers.

• Right-click the Start menu, and select Device Manager.
• Expand Bluetooth
• Right-click on Bluetooth Radio and select
  Update Driver Software…
• Select Search automatically for updated driver software

Note: You can also check your computer manufacturer’s support website for Bluetooth driver packages for your computer that are compatible with Windows 10.

Bluetooth Technology Gets Faster With Bluetooth 3.0

From its annual All Hands Meeting in Tokyo this week, the Bluetooth SIG formally adopted Bluetooth Core Specification Version 3.0 + High Speed (HS), or Bluetooth 3.0. This latest iteration of the popular short-range wireless technology fulfills the consumers' need for speed while providing the same wireless Bluetooth experience – faster. Manufacturers of consumer electronics and home entertainment devices can now build their products to send large amounts of video, music and photos between devices wirelessly at speeds consumers expect.
Bluetooth 3.0 gets its speed from the 802.11 radio protocol. The inclusion of the 802.11 Protocol Adaptation Layer (PAL) provides increased throughput of data transfers at the approximate rate of 24 Mbps. In addition, mobile devices including Bluetooth 3.0 + HS will realize increased power savings due to enhanced power control built in.


"Like Ricky Bobby in Talladega Nights, this latest version was 'born to go fast,' said Mike's Blog, Ph.D., executive director of the Bluetooth SIG. Bluetooth radio not working

From the above screenshot that you have posted, it looks like the Bluetooth drivers have been corrupted.

Code 10: This device cannot start. Try upgrading the device drivers for this device. (Code 10)"

Cause: Typically, the device's hardware key contains a "FailReasonString" value, and the value string is displays an error message defined by the hardware manufacturer. If the hardware key does not contain a “FailReasonString” value the
message above is displayed.

To have better clarity on the issue, answer the below-listed questions and get back to us.

1. Since when are you facing this issue?
2. Did you make any changes to the computer prior to this issue?

Meanwhile, try the below troubleshooting steps and see if this helps.

NOTE: Disconnect all your Bluetooth devices from your computer before performing the below steps.

Method 1: Windows Updates.

Check if your Windows is up-to-date by going to Settings >
Update and Security > Windows Updates and install all the Windows Updates if there are any.

Method 2: Uninstall and Reinstall the Bluetooth Drivers.

Step 1: Press the Windows key and the
R key from your keyboard and type Devmgmt.msc and hit
Enter.

Step 2: In the Device Manger, locate Bluetooth Drivers entry and expand it.

Step 3: Right-click on the Bluetooth Drivers and click on
Uninstall. (Uninstall all the Bluetooth drivers that you see under Bluetooth entry).

Step 5: Restart the computer once for the Bluetooth drivers to reinstall and check the issue.
