  1. Bluetooth headphones are seen as connected by my laptop, but they aren't actually connected.

I have WH CH500 bluetooth headphones that have been working fine with my laptop for its entire lifespan. These headphones still work on other devices, but not on my laptop. Whenever I attempt to connect my headphones, the settings will read "connected" for a short while then return back to "pairing". My headphones never say "bluetooth connected" when this happens, so I don't think they're ever actually connecting. Prior to today, whenever I would connect, the settings would read "connected voice and music", but it doesn't anymore, and I suspect that is the root of the problem. This all started

This all started a few days ago when suddenly my laptop seemed to lose its bluetooth capability, which I ended up fixing using a power flush. Now, bluetooth shows up, but my headphones don't seem to connect properly. I've tried running the bluetooth troubleshooter but nothing has been found. I have also tried forgetting my device through settings and re-pairing it but that hasn't worked either. I also know this isn't a problem of actual audio output, as my headphones are failing to connect in the first place, and I don't have an option anywhere to change my audio output to these headphones due to that fact.

I have underlined what I believe are the most important aspects of my problem to help with clarity of reading, although I hope you read the whole thing.

Please let me know of any possible solutions to this, thank you Bluetooth headphones are seen as connected by my laptop, but they aren't actually connected. :)

Cannot connect to bluetooth headphones after upgrade to Win10

I upgraded my Lenovo W530 running Win7 Pro 64 bit to Windows 10. After the upgrade I can no longer connect to my bluetooth headphones which worked before the upgrade. The bluetooth radio is on. When I click Connect in the Action Center it shows that the headphones are connected but they are not. The headphones (actually my hearing aids) play a notification sound when a bluetooth connection is made and I never hear that sound. If I play music the sound goes to the speaker, not my headphones. I have removed the headphones and repaired them. I have checked that all of the bluetooth device drivers are up to date in Device Manager. I would really appreciate any suggestions to solve this problem. Thanks.
