    Bluetooth headphones not connecting properly

To start im running Windows 10 x64 bit.

My bluetooth headphones (Sony WH-1000XM3) will "connect" to my computer but all it says "connected", not "connected music" or anything else, and I can't select them as a playback device. They don't show up at all when I click on the volume button in the bottom right.

They worked for a few weeks when I got them, and I also had the same problem with my last pair of headphones, which also worked for a while when I got them but then stopped.

I can delete the headphones form my pc via the device manager and then they are able to connect, but when I do that they just connect automatically and the only way to disconnect them is by turning them off or removing the device (I shuold be able to click "disconnect"), it had a weird name in the bluetooth settings that it usually doesn't have when connected normally, and sound quality is WAYY worse than it should be.

If I remove the device and then repair them without turning them off then I can get it added back to the device manager menu and they're pairing regularly.

I checked and it said the driver is all up to date.

I also opened the sounds menue when you right click on the volume button in the bottom right and they appear in the playback menu there (in 2 instances, one is called "Headset: WH1000XM3 Hands Free" the other is "Headphones WH1000XM3 Stereo") but it just says they're both disconnected (even when it says they're connected in the Bluetooth & other devices menu) and upon clicking on them I can't select "configure" or "set default".

I also made sure Bluetooth support and Bluetooth audio support and both running in Services

I know this is not a problem with the headphones because I can connect them to other computers and my phone with no problems.

    :)

Cannot connect to bluetooth headphones after upgrade to Win10

I upgraded my Lenovo W530 running Win7 Pro 64 bit to Windows 10. After the upgrade I can no longer connect to my bluetooth headphones which worked before the upgrade. The bluetooth radio is on. When I click Connect in the Action Center it shows that the headphones are connected but they are not. The headphones (actually my hearing aids) play a notification sound when a bluetooth connection is made and I never hear that sound. If I play music the sound goes to the speaker, not my headphones. I have removed the headphones and repaired them. I have checked that all of the bluetooth device drivers are up to date in Device Manager. I would really appreciate any suggestions to solve this problem. Thanks.

    Bluetooth headphones

I bought these headphones Amazon.com: Matone® Qy8 [New Version Qy7] V4.1 Wireless Bluetooth Headphones Best In-Ear Noise Cancelling Headphones with Microphone for Running, Sports Accessories. I connected them fine to my Iphone and Ipod but having problems with Windows I got them to pair but sound still comes through regular speakers only. In sound settings it lists the bluetooth headphones but says disconnected. I click on connect but that does nothing. Do not know what else to do
