Windows 10: Bluetooth Headphones not Speaker Option

My bluetooth headphones Bose QC45 have worked perfectly for months as playback and microphone options, but after working Friday night I turned my computer on Saturday and they were no longer an option. They are displayed as a recognized and connected "audio device", I can connect to them when adding a bluetooth speaker in sound settings, and I can find them under sound devices in device manager, but I can't use them for sound or as a microphone. I've tried removing and reconnecting, restarting computer, updating headphone software, updating all my drivers, and updating Windows, and nothing t

setting up win10 Bluetooth and my Bluetooth headphones work fine ,but every time I reconnect the headphones I have to delete them from Bluetooth settings and let win10 pickup the headphones again ,before they will pair ,then win10 want to reboot to add the headphones ,I reboot and they work fine ,but next time I plug the headphone in again they will not pair ,don't even get an option to pair till I delete the head phones from the list ,, any suggestions ,, thank

• Does your speaker work normally when connected to your desktop?

• Unplug or Disconnect your speaker from the desktop.
• Connect your headphone directly to the desktop.

Bluetooth Speakers + Headphones WIN10

Can anyone tell me how I can change media output (ie CD Music) from the laptop speakers to Bluetooth headphones or Bluetooth speakers. (both of these items are paired and in my device list) They are connected via CSR Rocketek RT-BT4 USB External Bluetooth.
