Windows 10: Bluetooth headphones paired and connected, but no sound: Properties Page cannot be...

Until yesterday my bluetooth headphones were working fine. Today no longer. They can be connected and play a little sound when connecting, but no system sounds or media can be played through them. In Settings->System->Sound->All Sound Devices->Properties, I cannot adjust the values "Audio" Allow/Disallow or "Volume" which is stuck on 0 mute."Troubleshoot common sound problems" claims the Bluetooth headphones aren't "plugged in". I've tried: restart, system and windows updates, update headphone driver, turn off/on bluetooth, bluetooth troubleshooting, audio troubleshooting. Thanks

setting up win10 Bluetooth and my Bluetooth headphones work fine ,but every time I reconnect the headphones I have to delete them from Bluetooth settings and let win10 pickup the headphones again ,before they will pair ,then win10 want to reboot to add the headphones ,I reboot and they work fine ,but next time I plug the headphone in again they will not pair ,don't even get an option to pair till I delete the head phones from the list ,, any suggestions ,, thank

 

Taotronics TT-BH07 bluetooth headphones paired but not connected

Hi everyone,

Hopefully this is on the right board....

I've got the Taotronics TT-BH07 bluetooth headphones which I've paired with my Windows 10 laptop and it worked fine the first time. I found that the following day, after the laptop had been switched off and started again, when I switch the headphones on, it doesn't connect to the laptop. It shows up in the list of bluetooth devices as "paired" but it doesn't connect automatically. If I remove it and go through the whole pairing process again, I can then use it.

I would have expected it to connect to the laptop automatically when it is switched on. I've had no problems connecting it with my iPhone. I've checked online for drivers for these headphones but there's nothing available, not even on the official Taotronics website.

Am I missing something here? Is this a bug or is there some further configuration I need to carry out on Windows in order to have the headphones connect as soon as I switch them on? Any and all input greatly received.

Headphones won't connect to Bluetooth (not a pairing problem)

Using Plantronics Bluetooth headphones (S5xx17). When they have been turned off, the only way they will reconnect to my BT source is by opening the Windows 10 Sounds panel (not the Settings>Bluetooth and Other Devices window that shows them paired) then selecting the Playback tab. In that tab I have to right-click the icon for my headphones, then click Connect. At that point the headphones will connect to Bluetooth.
I have a BT radio that simply connects to the same BT setup when turned on. I don’t understand why I must go through this ritual each time I power on the headphones. Am I missing some setting or is it just the way the headphones are designed?
