Windows 10: Bluetooth headset connecter but still not working

I have connected my Q9 headset to my pc via a asus bt400 dongle and it says that its connected but I cant select it as a playback option or do anything with it:

Bluetooth headphones connect but headset portion does not


I have the exact same problem with my Bluebuds X





I have tried to manually add a driver through windows driver update (you can choose a driver device from the list)
but i'm not sure which one is compatible and had no luck getting the headset portion to work... *Sad
