Windows 10: Bluetooth headset not playing the music when its said to be connected to the computer.

I have just gotten this computer, and it is the first one I have been able to claim as my own. I want to use my new Bluetooth headphones, but even though it says its connected, it is not playing through the headset. the computer is still playing the sound through its speakers. I've charged the headset completely, I've looked through the computer to find out the issue, but I'm not exactly sure what I'm looking for. has anyone else had this problem? anyone have any suggestions as to what I should do? everything will be taken into consideration, please and thank you.

Bluetooth single-ear headset for playing music and other sounds?

I have a Jabra BT250v bluetooth headset and a Toshiba Portege G900 (running Windows Mobile 6).

I want to be able to play music and other sounds (such as satnav instructions) through my Jabra headset, but am having no luck as far.

It seems that the problem is that when I get a list of bluetooth services for the Jabra, it only lists "hands free" and not anything like "headset". Maybe I'm wrong that this is the problem.

Can somebody please suggest a single-ear headset that definitely plays music and such from a Windows Mobile 6 device?

Music not playing from bluetooth headset

When I pair a Bluetooth headset to my Lumia 928, it shows me that it is connected but when I try to play music, it comes out of the phone speakers not the headset. What do I do?

You can use the Nokia BH108 headset, which is a mono, audio headset, for phone calls, but it won't work for music since the music app can only play through stereo bluetooth headsets that support the A2DP bluetooth profile (which mono Bluetooth headsets
do not support). If you want to listen to music through a bluetooth headset you'll need to use a different headset that supports the A2DP profile.
