Windows 10: Bluetooth Headset only functions when the Microphone is activated on it by windows.

My Logitech Zone Vibe 100 Bluetooth Headset only functions when the Microphone is activated on it by windows despite the headphones being set to Headphones output not Headset. I have done nearly everything to try to fix this going as far as reinstalling part of windows 11 to attempt to fix this. Of course nothing worked. Microsoft needs to fix their low-quality Bluetooth drivers that are barely functional compared to many other operating systems on the market. This issue has significantly increased the difficultly of doing many things on windows to the point where I am switching to my phone to

Bluetooth Headset Microphones Don't work with Windows 10

I cannot get any bluetooth headset microphone to work with Windows 10. I have tried three different bluetooth headsets, most recently a Corsair Gaming H2100. I have no problem getting the audio output to work just fine with any of them, but I cannot get
it to recognize the microphone. I have followed all of the obvious steps:

• Uninstalled and reinstalled the newest version of the drivers
• Restart my computer
• Disable other microphones
• Set the headset as the default recording device
• Check the levels and set to 100
• Remove the device with the device manager and reinstall
• Unplug and plug back in my bluetooth antenna
• Make sure that Windows is totally updated

None of these steps has made any difference. I am able to get wired microphones to work, but this isn't ideal with my current set-up, as I sit about 10 feet away from my computer and use my 55" television as my monitor. So, I have a really nice webcam that
I use as a microphone. It is fine, but I would really like to be able to use a bluetooth headset sometimes and not have to talk loudly to a microphone across the room.

Windows not detecting bluetooth headset microphone (treats headset as just headphones)

Using JBL 750BTNC headset with Windows

Bluetooth works well on other devices both for output (headphones) and input (mic built into headphones)

Until about a week ago this headset worked well with the PC via bluetooth

Stopped working in the middle of a Teams call - I reset/restarted everything, disconnected and reconnected bluetooth - then when I initially could not select the headset microphone I then bluetooth re-paired the headset.

Since that time Windows refuses to recognise the headset as anything other than headphones

The mic on the headset works with all other devices - suggesting not a hardware problem

Asus Windows 10 Enterprise PC version 2004 OS build 19041.208 Windows feature experience pack 120.2202.130.0

Tried adjusting sound mixer/system tray

Tried updating software drivers

No good - windows refuses to acknowledge that the headset microphone exists
