Bluetooth headset's name isn't showing up in the available devices anymore.

Earlier i could easily connect my Bluetooth headset to my laptop without any problem. Then last month i removed the device from the "other devices" section in "Bluetooth and other devices" in settings. I clicked on "remove device" button which appears after you click on any device's name in that "other devices" section.

From that time on, whenever i turn on thesame bluetooth headset and the bluetooth in my laptop, i can't find the device name anymore.

But all other devices connect to my laptop easily.

I tried "add bluetooth or other device" option after turning my headset on andit's name doesn't appear there anymore.

I have also re-installed the drivers after i read someone's answer but that didn't fix it.The device name still doesn't appear in my laptop.

Note that my headset works fine with my phones and other pc so the problem isn't in the headset.

Is there any way i can connect that headset?

I have been trying to resolve this issue since a lot of days but i can't.

    Please help me fix it.

In case it's needed, I am using Windows 10 Proedition 64-bit and the headset is Sennheiser momentum M2 IEBT model and it uses Bluetooth version 4.1.

    :)

Bluetooth headset showing up as other device in Windows 10 settings.

    Hi Elena,

Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.

This normally happens due to the Bluetooth connectivity issue. I would suggest to try the methods given below and let us know if it works.

    Method 1: Check services.

    • Open the Run dialog box by pressing the
Windows key and the R key together.
    • Type SERVICES.MSC and hit the Enter key.

Check each of the following services and ensure that they are in running state. You may also restart the services if they are already running.

    • Bluetooth Support Service
    • Bluetooth Audio Gateway Service
    • Bluetooth Handsfree Service (this service may or may not be available on your computer depending on the Windows 10 version).
    • BluetoothUserService_8c55026

Method 2: Check if the headset is in disabled state.

    • Right click on the Volume icon (bottom right corner) and select
      Sounds.
    • If the headset is not listed under the playback devices, right click on the empty space of the window and select Show disabled devices which should list the device.
    • Right click on it and select Enable.
    • Again right click on the device name and select Set as default device.

Method 3: Remove and repair headset.

    • Go to settings->Devices->Bluetooth & other devices.
    • Under Bluetooth, select the device you’re having problems with, select
      Remove device and clickYes.

    • To re-add the device, go to
Action center, select Connect and then select your device.
    • Follow any more instructions that might appear. Otherwise, you're done and connected.

    Method 4: Update/Reinstall Bluetooth drivers.

If the above steps does not fix the issue, you may try updating or reinstalling the Bluetooth drivers of your computer. I would suggest you to refer the article on
Fix Bluetooth problems in Windows 10.
Kindly refer section '6' to update your system's Bluetooth drivers. You can also refer the subsection
Audio under Troubleshoot problems with Bluetooth accessories
and check if it is helpful to you.

    Hope it helps.

Feel free to contact back in case, you have any questions or need any further assistance with this issue.

  3. Printer isn´t working after latest update.

After the latest update from Windows, my Canon Pixma ip6600 printer isnt working. In Device Manager it shows up as working properly but when I go to print it isn´t listed as an option in any programs. Troubleshoot suggests it´s a USB 2 printer on a USB
3 port and that that´s the problem but that cant be since it worked fine before the update. I´ve tried to uninstall and plug it back in but that doesn´t work either.

Bluetooth Headset will pair & connect, but wont turn into an Audio Device @ Windows 10

As you can see in the picture, Windows thinks that everything is "working correctly"

And I definitly know that they did work a while ago, when I last worked with them, but now I can't get them to show up as Audio Device anymore.

I have tried everything, from reinstalling the drivers (official and non-offical ones), running the Windows Troubleshooter, replugging the dongle to another usb hub, enable/disable devices and restarting pc after every of those steps, but nothing helped.

Other Bluetooth Devices such as my Controllers do work on this Dongle/PC and the Headset will connect to other Devices (tested with my mobile and laptop), but i just cant get this Headset to work with this Dongle on this PC.
