Windows 10: Bluetooth in my desktop keeps crashing

Hello I am currently using the latest version of Windows 10 Home with all drivers up to date. My desktop pc doesn't support bluetooth so I had to buy a bluetooth dongle for it. After plugging it in, my pc had a bluetooth symbol on the icons taskbar on the lower right, it detected a bluetooth driver/dongle. I click on it and it goes to my settings in "Bluetooth and other devices", I click the "add bluetooth or other device" button on top and i click bluetooth and a pop-up shows up for a second and then closes on its own. It is not letting me add any devices nor detect any bluetooth devices. I j

Increase the window size step by step and watch your vga temps permanently.
What happens?
If it crashes, run at stock speeds as suggested before and retry.

P.S.: When your system locks, does the display signal turn off after a time?
Stuttering sound or no sound at all when freezing?
What X1800XT model do you own exactly?

I suggest you try the following steps and see if it helps.

Method 1: Run Hardware and Devices Troubleshooter

Please follow the steps below:

• Press Windows key + X and click on
  Control Panel.
• Change View by from Category
  to Small Icons.
• Now click on Troubleshooting.
• On the left side of the Troubleshooting window, click on “View all”.
• Click on Hardware and Devices. Please provide a password if asked for it and click
  ok.
• Follow the on-screen instructions.

Method 2: Update Bluetooth driver software

Follow the steps.

• Press Windows key + X key and click Device Manager.
• Search for the Bluetooth driver.
• Right-click on the Bluetooth Driver
  and select Update Driver Software.
• Restart your system.
