Windows 10: Bluetooth intermittently cuts out 1-2 times each day - audio and mouse, but not completely

Hi,Once or twice a day, usually in the morning, my bluetooth will act up. The mouse will lag unusably while the audio cuts out. Sometimes the bluetooth connection to the audio connection will drop completely I get a tone and sometimes it will just not play without dropping the connection. Spotify keeps playing, so it's not that. This will last 5 - 30 seconds. It happens every day, either once or twice, never more, never less. I don't believe it is device dependent, but the mouse is a Tecknet BM307 and the audio receiver is BTR1 US. I am on a 3-year-old Dell Inspiron laptop with Win 11. I hav

Bluetooth audio has become intermittent

In the last few days Bluetooth audio has become intermittent when played through headphones (cuts out for a fraction of a second every 2 - 5 seconds). I've confirmed with two different sets (Anker and Bose). I ran the Windows troubleshooter and confirmed all effects are off. I've updated the driver for the headphones and installed the latest update for Windows (x64 Pro v1903). I still have the problem. Any tips appreciated.

The problem has never been fixed -- streaming audio from a bluetooth dongle in Windows 10 version 21H1 is broken -- choppy and completely unuseable. Based on what I've seen so far, it seems entirely probable that MS rolled out Windows 11 without bluetooth working. The fact that bluetooth works fine in (free) Ubuntu derivatives but doesn't in (expensive) Windows should drive more and more users to Linux; it's beyond absurd that MS leaves this major bug unaddressed!
