Windows 10: Bluetooth is no longer working and is not auto reinstalling.

Recently my turn on/off Bluetooth button disappeared. To try and fix it I ran the diagnostics, but this did nothing, so I went to my auto updates and applied the Bluetooth update there. I think that this had an error, which I wasn't fast enough to get the details of, and it is now saying that it is up to date.I rebooted and Bluetooth was still not starting so I tried resetting my bios and disabling fast boot, which did not help.Next I opened device manager and went to "View" > "show hidden devices" then I tried right clicking on my Bluetooth adapter and updating the driver, but it said it w

Bluetooth drivers not working since OVI Upgrade

Since the recent 2 upgrades from OVI Suite it seems that my bluetooth drivers are not working any more..



HP P8710 with windows Vista Business SP2.

The phone is a c5-03. V 12.0.023.C01.01 RM-697

OVI does not see the phone either using USB and/or Bluetooth..



I have:

• reinstalled OVI;
• disable bluetooth devices and enabled them again;
• Search the web;
• auto install drivers but they are not recognized;
• reboot PC;

Any suggestions?

That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.

 

Bluetooth is not working — troubleshoot claims I don't even have it

I have done all the following steps:

- installed bluetooth driver from manufacturer
- hit windows update
- updated / uninstalled bluetooth items listed in Device Manager and restarted the PC
- updated / uninstalled USB drivers listed in Device Manager and restarted the PC (USB drivers automatically came back but not bluetooth)
- turned on and restarted all bluetooth support in services.msc
- conducted bluetooth troubleshooting
- conducted hardware troubleshooting
