I was going to pair my bluetooth earbuds to my computer this morning, but it just keeps saying that bluetooth is off. I tried going into the notifications bar, but it didn't even give me the option to turn it back on. I tried going into the bluetooth settings, and it never even showed the switch to turn it on, like this video showed. I even went into the device manager and uninstalled the bluetooth devices and drivers, and restarted my computer, but it didn't reinstall them. What do I do?

Solution for Bluetooth Turned Off and No Option to Turn It Back On

1.Check in Device Manager:

Open Device Manager.

Expand "Bluetooth" and see if any devices are listed.

If not, check under "Network adapters" to see if a Bluetooth adapter is listed there.

Right-click the Bluetooth adapter and select "Enable device" (if disabled).

2.Show Hidden Devices:

In Device Manager, click on "View" in the top menu and select "Show hidden devices".

See if Bluetooth appears in the list. If it does, try updating or enabling it.

3.Manually Reinstall Bluetooth Driver:

Visit the manufacturer’s website for your computer or Bluetooth adapter.

Download and install the latest Bluetooth driver available for your model and operating system.

After installation, restart your computer.

4.Check Bluetooth Services:

Press Win + R, type services.msc, and press Enter.

In the list of services, find "Bluetooth Support Service" and "Bluetooth Handsfree Service".

Right-click each one and select "Properties".

In "Startup type", select "Automatic" and click "Start" (if they are stopped).

5.Check BIOS/UEFI Settings:

Restart your computer and enter the BIOS/UEFI settings (usually by pressing F2, F10, Del, or another key during startup).

I don't have any bluetooth devices but windows turned it on!!


Then if they are still on, try some of these steps listed below, Not all of these steps may not apply, but, step #2 and #4 should help. I have all 4 steps on myself.

1 Go to Device manager and DISABLE Bluetooth, Do Not remove!
2 Turn USB suspend off
3 Set Hard Drive or SSD to Never
4 Turn Link State Power Management off
Settings 2 thur 4 can be found in your Power Management Settings.
Then click on "Change settings that are currently unavailable"
Then Reboot your Computer. This does work, may come back if you shut OFF your computer,then turn it back on, if it does, just a reboot will turn it off again.

 

I don't have any bluetooth devices but windows turned it on!!

1. I have no bluetooth devices in devices manager.
2,3,4. they all turned off before.

reboot or shutdown doesn't solved it.
i have USB wireless Mouse/Keyborad. i plug it out and use PS/2 but nothing.
i used DISM to repair image.

i tried everything but its not make any changes and windows still showing Bluetooth turned on.
a few days ago it was not even showing Bluetooth in Action Center but i don't understand what happened, no devices added or changed in my PC, no software Installed or Uninstalled, not a single Settings Changed in Windows or BIOS!!!
