    Bluetooth Issue After WIndows Update


    I recently upgraded my PC and re-installed windows. Had issues with bluetooth - couldn't find most of my devices and the ones I could find had limited audio connection and were breaking up. I fixed it by updating my motherboard BIOS. This was on Windoesn't 10. A new Windows update and if I check history there is a bluetooth driver from Intel as well seems to have broken bluetooth again. I upgraded to Windows 11 in hopes that it would resolve the issue but it did not. I hope a fix will be rolled out soon from M$ or I will have to a wait fro a fix from Asus - I checked for a patch today.B650M

    Regarding your question about locking Windows Anniversary update, it is possible to postpone an update but it cannot be stopped.

    Hi,

    I would suggest to perform some basic troubleshooting steps by following the article to find out the reason and to update the Bluetooth driver.

    Check the Status of the Bluetooth in Device Manager and update it:

    • Search Device Manager using Cortana.
    • Right click Bluetooth drivers and select the Update driver software.

    Check also if the Bluetooth service on your laptop is enabled by following this steps:

    • Press Windows key + R and type service.msc
    • Search for Bluetooth Support Service.
    • Right click on the Service and click on Enable.
