Windows 10: Bluetooth Issues

Hi all,


I have just recently begun to have issues with my Bluetooth connection. My headset wasn't working properly so I went to repair the device. However, upon doing so, I was unable to add any devices and it said that my Bluetooth was not turned on. Unfortunately, the toggle that is usually there to turn Bluetooth on is no longer showing up.


I have tried everything I can think of and now have to resort to asking you all. I already tried to reinstall the Bluetooth drivers, restarting my computer, and running the troubleshooter but all to no avail.


When running the troubleshooter, I receive the response that I need to "Check Bluetooth radio status" and when looking in Device Manager for the issue, I receive the response that "Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. Code 43". The Bluetooth here shows as Qualcomm Atheros QCA61x4 Bluetooth.


If anyone has any suggestions as to what to do it would be much appreciated.

Bluetooth Headphone Connection Issues

I would suggest to perform some basic troubleshooting steps by following the article to find out the reason and to update the Bluetooth driver.

Check the Status of the Bluetooth in Device Manager and update it:

• Search Device Manager using Cortana.
• Right click Bluetooth drivers and select the Update driver software.

Check also if the Bluetooth service on your laptop is enabled by following this steps:

• Press Windows key + R and type service.msc
• Search for Bluetooth Support Service.
• Right click on the Service and click on Enable.
