Windows 10: Bluetooth Issues

I recently purchased a usb bluetooth 5.0 adapter from amazon. The drivers came on a small disc but my pc does not have a disc reader. I referenced an answer from someone else's bluetooth question and used the device manager to select the bluetooth device, open properties, check the hardware value, copy and paste it in google, find the driver and download. I have updated windows, downloaded all up to date drivers and still my pc will not pair with any devices. I have attached photos of the listings under bluetooth tab and network adapter tab in device manager as well as the hardware id listings and a photo of bluetooth in the on position. When I select "add bluetooth or other devices" it loads endlessly and will not find any devices. Please somebody explain what I am missing!

Bluetooth Headphone Connection Issues

I would suggest to perform some basic troubleshooting steps by following the article to find out the reason and to update the Bluetooth driver.

Check the Status of the Bluetooth in Device Manager and update it:

• Search Device Manager using Cortana.
• Right click Bluetooth drivers and select the Update driver software.

Check also if the Bluetooth service on your laptop is enabled by following this steps:

• Press Windows key + R and type service.msc
• Search for Bluetooth Support Service.
• Right click on the Service and click on Enable.
