Windows 10: Bluetooth Issues

I'm hoping someone out there might have some advice! I'm having tremendous trouble with connecting a couple of devices to my Sony Vaio via bluetooth. I just ordered a headset which I really need to use all day tomorrow. I was initially able to set it up, but when I turn it off and try to connect again, it won't connect. I've done ALL the things: uninstall the driver, make sure the drivers are up to date. Windows is up to date. Reboot my computer....disconnect and reconnect the devices.....I've been doing this ALL weekend - both with the headset and a Bluetooth speaker I have. I have a feeling it's my computer specifically...she's about 6 years old and I know there is no longer any support for her. any other tips - maybe something else I'm not doing but should be? it shouldn't be this difficult, which tells me something is wrong with my computer itself. I have no trouble connecting the headset and speaker to my phone.

Bluetooth Headphone Connection Issues

I would suggest to perform some basic troubleshooting steps by following the article to find out the reason and to update the Bluetooth driver.

Check the Status of the Bluetooth in Device Manager and update it:

• Search Device Manager using Cortana.
• Right click Bluetooth drivers and select the Update driver software.

Check also if the Bluetooth service on your laptop is enabled by following this steps:

• Press Windows key + R and type service.msc
• Search for Bluetooth Support Service.
• Right click on the Service and click on Enable.
