Windows 10: Bluetooth issues

Hello,


I have a Lenovo ideacenter 610s which has inbuilt bluetooth (Qualconn atheros I think). 2 days ago, my portable bluetooth speaker stopped connecting and when I checked the bluetooth status, it said it is not turned on but there is no turn on toggle on the settings page or on physical PC itself. Ran bluetooth trouble shoot with results "you dont have bluetooth on this computer". I tried restarting the computer- no use. I went to Device manager--> show hidden, saw the blue tooth driver, uninstalled (selected "delete driver software from the computer" option). Restarted the computer. Looked up device specific drivers from the lenovo website on which I registered the PC with its serial number when I bought it. Downloaded and installed the drivers, only to see "This device is no longer present or ejected. Please make sure it is reinserted". Does this mean that my bluetooth chip is bust!?

Checked all the catogories in the device manager after selecting the "show hidden drivers" options but couldnt see the bluetooth driver.

That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.

 

Bluetooth Headphone Connection Issues

I would suggest to perform some basic troubleshooting steps by following the article to find out the reason and to update the Bluetooth driver.

Check the Status of the Bluetooth in Device Manager and update it:

• Search Device Manager using Cortana.
• Right click Bluetooth drivers and select the Update driver software.

Check also if the Bluetooth service on your laptop is enabled by following this steps:

• Press Windows key + R and type service.msc
• Search for Bluetooth Support Service.
• Right click on the Service and click on Enable.
