    Bluetooth LE XINPUT compatible input device - DRIVER ERROR


    Hello,So I connected my xbox controller through bluetooth, then I got this error:I went to device manager and saw this error:General tab: Driver tabI checked the Events tab > view all eventsand this is what I got:Event viewer:Things I tried:1- DISM check - restore operation completed successfully2- sfc /scannow - Windows resource protection did not find any integrity violations3- Uninstall error driver, then restart - still driver error upon reconnecting3- clean install windows 10 keep files and apps - driver error upon reconnecting4- upgrade to windows 11 - driver error upon reconnecting

    Welcome to the Microsoft community and thank you for sharing your concern with us today. I understand from your message that you have xbox one controller problem.We are here to help you on this issue.

    You can try following steps:

    Press Win+S and type device manager to open device manager.

    • Locate Human Interface Devices options.
    • select Bluetooth LE XINPUT compatible input device.
    • Right click Properties option and go to the driver tab.
    • Select update driver and choose browse my computer for drivers.
    • Click let me pick from a list.
    • Uncheck the box that says show compatible dardware.
    • This will bring up 2 boxes. The left should have MICROSOFT selected.
    • In the right box scroll down to XBOX ONE WIRELESS CONTROLLER and select it.
    • Click yes on the pop up.

    I am on Windows 11, Latest Insiders version, and as mentioned by @josh and @Cpazzra changing this setting does not persist after restart.
