Windows 10: Bluetooth mic no sound until I change some settings in sound control panel.

Hi! I have been having this problem for awhile which drives me nuts. I often use the DJI Mic 2 as a Bluetooth input device, but more often than not, there is no sound at all, the meter in the sound control panel shows nothing. 90% of times, I could fix it by going into the Recording tab of the sound control panel, change some settings and revert back, AND KEEP the sound control panel open, if I closed the sound control panel, it would stop working after a couple of mins. Also, sometimes it cannot be fixed by changing settings, no matter how many times I tried, then I will have to unlink the Mi

Shortcut to sound control panel changed?

Whenever i need to go to the sound control panel I can just right click the speaker icon on my taskbar and click "Open Sound". Now when i click it it just direct me to the sound setting. Is there a way to change it back to it opening the sound control
panel instead of the sound setting?

If the sound format settings goes back to cd quality after restart, we suggest you check if sound enhancement is enabled. Driver enhancements give you some special sound effects that will enhance your audio experience. To disable the enhancements, simply follow
the steps provided below:

• Click Start.
  
• Type Sound in the Start search box and click Sound from the available options.
  
• On the Playback tab, click Speakers and then click Properties.
  
• Click the Enhancements tab and then select the Disable all enhancements check box.
  
• Then follow the steps by Vanessa Yar to change the sound format, Click on Apply then Ok.
  

We also suggest you update the driver of your audio. Generally speaking, updated drivers deliver better functionality and improved performance. For the most part, you certainly want to upgrade your drivers unless you have a very specific reason for not wanting

Open the Settings App, rather than control Panel

Go to System - Sound

In the Input section, click 'Device Properties'

Does that open your Mic settings?
