Windows 10: Bluetooth mouse and keyboard keeps disconnecting after certain period of inactivity.

I have a Dell Precision 5690 Windows 11 Enterprise with Microsoft Bluetooth mouse and Logitech Bluetooth MS Keyboard. Bluetooth connectivity for mouse and keyboard keeps disconnecting after few mins of inactivity. 10-15 mins of inactivity. The only to get connected back is to toggle the bluetooth setting on->off->on. I've tried all the following: 1. Updated all drivers. Rebooted the PC.2. Reinstalled the drivers. Rebooted the PC. 3. Removed and readded all BT devices 4. Under device manager, Intel Wireless Bluetooth setting has been unchecked "Allow the computer to turn off this device

Bluetooth devices interfere with mouse/keyboard input

Hey, I'm not sure if this is the right section for my issue Anyhow, while using my keyboard and mouse for work I've had a really irritating issue where they would constantly spaz out at random. They would either:

• Randomly disconnect/reconnect
• Hinder my ability to click on certain windows or even the taskbar unless I ctr+alt+delete which restores the control temporarily
• Have a mind of its own such as spamming the same last used key for a second or two

However I recently narrowed down the source and realized this issue only occurs when the laptop is connected to my bluetooth earbuds. (Occurred with two different bluetooth earbud models however both by Samsung if that matters) Just an FYI but the keyboard and mouse are wired and are connected via a KVM switch if that makes any difference. Any ideas as to why certain bluetooth devices if not all impair the input for my mouse and keyboard would be greatly appreciated.

 

Bluetooth mouse & keyboard disconnecting repeatedly

Hi guys!

Over the last couple weeks I have been having an issue with my bluetooth mouse and keyboard. Both disconnect out of the blue and only work again upon rebooting my Laptop.

- My bluetooth is always on
- My bluetooth states that both the mouse and keyboard are successful connected
- My drivers are up to date for both bluetooth devices

Can't seem to find a solution.

Microsoft Designer keyboard won't reconnect after inactivity

Hi,

I recently bought the Microsoft Designer Kit and I like it, but I seem to have a problem with the keyboard.

After a period of activity the keyboard disconnects (as expected) but it won't reconnect afterwords. I have to pair it again in order to have it back working. The mouse also goes to sleep for inactivity but it has no problem reconnecting and working properly.

I'm running the latest Windows 10 and keep everything updated.

My Bluetooth radio is an ASUS USB-BT400.
