Bluetooth mouse can't be removed from Windows 10 (just keeps coming back on it's own)

    Hi!

I have a Microsoft Surface Go and a Microsoft Sculpt Mouse; I was using them fine without problems for days.

One thing that I've been doing it resyncing this mouse to 3 different PC's; my Work PC, my home desktop and my Surface Go. (This is very annoying by the way, would be very nice if the mouse could remember the PC's and just let me connect to each one when I need; in the end, I'm still sometimes just using my old Microsoft Wireless Mouse 5000, since the dongle is much more practical than BT sync Bluetooth mouse can't be removed from Windows 10 (just keeps coming back on it's own) :(

Now, on Surface Go I'm having a major problem; I can no longer sync the Bluetooth mouse! It shows up in the list of Bluetooth paired devices, but doesn't pair, since the mouse is still thinking of my work PC since my last use there. So I try to set mouse to sync mode and "add device" in windows -> doesn't show up! Makes somewhat sense that Windows would filter it and not show it since it's already a "known and paired device".

So I try to remove it; ok, it seems to go away but still isn't found when trying to add.

Restart PC and..,. hey! the mouse is showing again as paired what!?!? I removed it and never synced again, so let's try.... doesn't pair, doesn't list, remove, still doesn't list.

Turn BT off and on again on the PC; and there's the mouse again, always back, like a zombie.

Went to device manager, uninstalled the mouse from there... same thing; comes back as soon as I turn bluetooth on or restart the pc (this time Windows actually says "installing device" ... "device installed" notifications)

In device manager I tried to disable and then uninstall... same thing, just comes back when BT is turned off and on or when pc is restarted.

So; is there a way to completely clear the BT cache or wherever windows is bringing the device back from?

    Thanks and regards!

    Luiz

    :)

    Bluetooth in windows 10

My computer specs are as listed in the profile. I think all of you guys are correct. I don't have built-in Bluetooth in mobo.

I contacted skull candy headphones and thy have told me if I do not have built-in Bluetooth, I would need a dongle which supports at least a2dp. I do not know what the heck that means. I have a feeling I would need more than a cheap dongle.

Anyone suggest some a2dp adapters. I searched but don't know what a2dp is so couldn't make a decision

    Bluetooth mouse still freezes

    Hello,

There are multiple possibilities why a Bluetooth mouse could act up. To assist you with your concern, you can try these following steps:

    Method 1:

Check if the Bluetooth mouse and its Bluetooth adapter are working properly.

    • Try installing fresh new batteries.
    • Try to unplug the Bluetooth adapter of your mouse and plug it back in.
    • Try connecting the Bluetooth adapter of your mouse to a different USB port.
    • Try to remove objects that can interfere with the signal of your Bluetooth adapter and mouse.

    Method 2:

Check if you have installed all the updates on your computer. There are chances that you might get Bluetooth drivers through update:

    • Go to the Start screen.
    • Type Windows update and click on it from the list of results.
    • Click on Check for updates on the left pane in the new window.

We also suggest that you try to contact the manufacturer of the Bluetooth mouse for other options.

We will wait for your response.

    Regards.

    Bluetooth in windows 10

If the op is using the pc listed in the system spec then the gigabyte z97x gaming 5 mobo does not have built in BlueTooth.

It also seems like the headphones did not come with a dongle so inless they buy one not much else can be done.
