Windows 10: Bluetooth mouse diconnecting frequently after update to 2004

Before updating to 2004, bluetooth worked very well without issues. Just after updating, my BT mouse started disconnecting every now and then (sometimes it takes 30 mins or so, sometimes 15 secs). The Windows Event Viewer shows 2 new BTHUSB entries every time the issue happens:

1. BTHUSB warning ID 34 (The local adapter does not support an important Low Energy controller state to support peripheral mode. The minimum required supported state mask is 0x2491f7fffff, got 0x1ffffffff. Low Energy peripheral role functionality will not be available)
2. BTHUSB info ID 18 (Windows cannot store Bluetooth authentication codes (link keys) on the local adapter. Bluetooth keyboards might not work in the system BIOS during startup)

The issue is making me rage as you can imagine, as it takes anywhere from 10 to 30 seconds to reconnect. I also noticed that the BT icon on taskbar disappears for a brief moment every time this happens. Already tried updating BT drivers (Intel(R) Wireless Bluetooth(R) updated to 20.100.5.1), but that did not help. Don't know if it also happens to other BT devices, as I don't have any on me right now, but the mouse still works fine with a Win7 laptop and a Linux laptop.

My laptop is a 6 years old MSI gaming laptop. The BT adapter is Intel device (VID 8087, PID 07DC) and the mouse is a Microsoft Surface Precision Mouse. No red corsses or yellow exclamation marks in Device Manager apart from SurfaceAccessoryIntegration{5E9A8CDC-14AB-4609-A017-68BCE594AB68} which appeared at the same time I installed mouse software and for which I can't find any drivers. It was there in previous version of windows, too, so I don't think that's the issue. The Microsoft Mouse&Keyboard Center is also up-to-date

What can I do or try to make the issue disappear?

No Bluetooth after 2004 Update

Hi, since updating to the 2004 version of W 10, my Bluetooth has gone on the blink......I have uninstalled it, then re-installed, still won't work.....unpaired my phone, now it won't even re -pair...I know it's not the phone as it works on other laptop....any suggestions ?

Microsoft bluetooth mouse 3600 suddenly undetected


I'm using a Microsoft mouse 3600 on Windows 10, all worked fine until suddenly the mouse stopped working, it disappeared from the Bluetooth detection and can't be found anymore. I need to say Windows performed an update yesterday but it still worked fine after the update. I've tried replacing batteries, updating Bluetooth driver, went one step before the updates and nothing. I obviously tried troubleshooting about anything.The mouse does work on other laptops.

Any ideas? thanks
