Windows 10: Bluetooth mouse freezes intermittently since the May Windows 10 ver. 2004 update

Ever since this update my Bluetooth mouse continues to freeze for a few seconds intermittently. I own aMicrosoft Designer Bluetooth Mouse and
Microsoft Modern Bluetooth Mouse and the problem exists with both. Tried a Logitech Pebble and again, the same issue. I've tried the troubleshooter - it solves nothing.Tried to update drivers - nothing. Restarting Bluetooth - doesn't work.


No matter what attempts to resolve this problem I have discovered, they have all failed.


Can someone help me with this?

Windows 10 ver 2004 freezes

Since installing windows 10 pro ver 2004 my computer has been freezing up at the oddest times. It just hangs with no controls and I have to manually turn the computer off and then on again. Sometimes it will freeze up again sometimes not. WTH?

I did try that, no difference.

You mean on the computer? It's built in.

• Try connecting the Bluetooth adapter of your mouse to a different USB port.

The only thing in the 1.5' between the mouse and the laptop is a chair arm and the computer power cord.

• Go to the Start screen.
• Type Windows update and click on it from the list of results.
• Click on Check for updates on the left pane in the new window.

Windows is up to date.

I thought I just did. It's a Microsoft mouse.
