Windows 10: Bluetooth Mouse & Keyboard Disconnect when Asus Zenbook Laptop is Sleeping

Hey! Just bought a new 15 in Asus Zenbook running Windows 10 pro. I have it connected to an external display and keep the laptop closed when its in my office, and just use the external display. I have a Microsoft Bluetooth Keyboard and a Logitech Mx Master 3 Bluetooth Mouse connected. When I put the machine into sleep mode, about 50 percent of the time i cant wake the computer with the mouse or keyboard. I have to open the laptop up, then I have to go into settings and toggle Bluetooth off and on. Then it shows the devices go from paired to both connected. I tried to do some research but couldn't find a solution. I just moved from a Mac, and haven't used Windows in about 14 years. Trying my best . Any help is appreciated.

Bluetooth mouse & keyboard disconnecting repeatedly

Hi guys!

Over the last couple weeks I have been having an issue with my bluetooth mouse and keyboard. Both disconnect out of the blue and only work again upon rebooting my Laptop.

- My bluetooth is always on
- My bluetooth states that both the mouse and keyboard are successful connected
- My drivers are up to date for both bluetooth devices

Can't seem to find a solution.

Using laptop as desktop - can't wake it from sleep with wireless mouse or keyboard.

I've tried to be as clear and concise as possible.

• Have you or have you not installed Avast Free?

I hadn't uninstalled it, only deactivated it; but just now I did uninstall it, then re-booted the laptop, put it to sleep and tried to wake it using the mouse. No luck.

• You just posted: "Just now, I disconnected the mouse, keyboard and monitor; manually put it to sleep using the Start Menu icons (because the lid action is still set to do nothing); closed the lid; and when I opened the lid it woke up."
• So the Notebook PC (laptop) "wakes up" now as long as the external devices (i.e., mouse; keyboard; monitor) are not connected to the ASUS device, is that correct?

Mouse and keyboard connected or disconnected doesn't have any effect on what happens:

- Opening the lid wakes the laptop.

- If the lid is already open and I put the laptop to sleep, pressing the power button wakes up the laptop.

- Lid open or closed, if I put the laptop to sleep and try to wake it using the mouse or keyboard, nothing happens.

 

Bluetooth not working on ASUS laptop

I am using an ASUS Zenbook UX360UAK laptop with 64-bit Windows 10 installed, and have been using Microsoft's Bluetooth Mouse 3600 for months with no issue.

Suddenly, I cannot connect the mouse to my PC anymore. All my drivers are up to date, I have checked if the Bluetooth Support Service is working and the mouse can connect to my phone with no issue. But whenever I try to connect anything to my laptop I get
an error message "Please try to reconnect your device."

Any suggestions are appreciated.
