Windows 10: Bluetooth mouse not working because i am on a metered connection, but I can’t click on...

Bluetooth mouse won’t work because I am on a metered connection but I can’t click on the button to enable downloading on a metered connection. When I am on it white square around the button pressing enter won’t enable it.

Wow - Thank you Bree for posting this! I've been searching for a fix to this since the "setup incomplete because of a metered connection" error started showing up for my Bluetooth headphone and was as not able to find a solution until finding your post with a clearly explained solution.
I had come across the Settings/Devices /Connected devices page, but since my headphone wasn't listed there I skipped making the change, and of course, there was no option under Settings / Devices /Bluetooth to make the change. It was non-intuitive (at least to me, and apparently the OP, Ivgandhi) until you pointed out that changing the setting under Connected devices should apply to all connected devices including Bluetooth even if the weren't listed.

If you are talking about the W7/10 dual boot? It shouldn't have any issues with the driver being installed for both systems as they run independently. Bluetooth is still just a connection medium like USB, it just happens to be wireless. This means a device connecting via Bluetooth will still need to have W10 drivers to connect and work. My suggestion would be to consider how much time and energy you are putting into getting the mouse working versus buying a new mouse that is W10 compatible.
