Windows 10: Bluetooth mouse problems

I have an issue with whenever I connect my bluetooth mouse. My bluetooth works fine with other things like my headphones, but whenever I connect my bluetooth mouse, my bluetooth looks like it's lagging. I have a microsoft bluetooth mobile mouse 3600 and a dell inspiron 14 5000 2-in-1.The mouse can connect to bluetooth fine, but whenever it connects, it works for a few seconds, then doesn't work for a few seconds, rinse and repeat.Here is a screenshot of what happens when it isn't working:And here is what it looks like when it is working:This issue happens when my bluetooth headphones are conne

Method 1:

Check if the Bluetooth mouse and its Bluetooth adapter are working properly.

• Try installing fresh new batteries.
• Try to unplug the Bluetooth adapter of your mouse and plug it back in.
• Try connecting the Bluetooth adapter of your mouse to a different USB port.
• Try to remove objects that can interfere with the signal of your Bluetooth adapter and mouse.

Method 2:

Check if you have installed all the updates on your computer. There are chances that you might get Bluetooth drivers through update:

• Go to the Start screen.
• Type Windows update and click on it from the list of results.
• Click on Check for updates on the left pane in the new window.

I did try that, no difference.

You mean on the computer? It's built in.

The only thing in the 1.5' between the mouse and the laptop is a chair arm and the computer power cord.

Windows is up to date.

I thought I just did. It's a Microsoft mouse.

 

Bluetooth dongle problem!

My problem was (got a new laptop w/ built in bluetooth) that the actual bluetooth did not connect with the PC. I didn't have audio playback problems because the bluetooth wasn't even connected to the PC. Someone on another forum said that he had a similar problem and it was due to the wireless mouse drivers he used. I also used a wireless mouse with a little receiver dongle.
