Windows 10: Bluetooth Mouse Wake-Up Anomaly

A few days ago, I found out what settings need to be changed to allow a Bluetooth mouse to wake a computer. Having made those changes, I set Power Options to put the machine to sleep in one minute to test the new settings; machine went to sleep, clicking a mouse button woke it up.

I then reset the option to my normal one of two hours; the next morning, the mouse would not wake the computer, so I checked the settings and repeated the test, which worked, and finally reset time to two hours.

Once again, the following morning, the mouse would not wake the computer. I have done a fairly extensive search about this, and have no found any relevant posts. Assistance in solving this minor annoyance is hereby solicited.

Photo Gallery as screensaver.

SFC.exe didn't find any anomaly or corrupt file. After running SFC, I tried Photo gallery as screen saver, mouse wiggle and keyboard no go. Tried other screen savers, both mouse and keyboard wakes up system to desktop.

Hello, I bought an ASUS USB-BT400 Bluetooth Adaptor to enable me to connect my new Microsoft Bluetooth Mouse. Everything appears to work fine whilst I'm using it. If I walk away for any period greater than about 30 mins, I return to find that the Adaptor
has gone to sleep and will not easily wake up. How to I set it to not sleep, alternatively, how do I wake it up without the mouse available. I also find that the Bluetooth adaptor is roughly the last item to boot up, meaning that I'm mouse less until the boot
has completely finished. I'd have bought a Microsoft Bluetooth Adaptor to run my Microsoft Bluetooth Mouse, but apparently they don't make one!
