Windows 10: Bluetooth not connecting as the proper input type.

When I've tried connecting audio devices such as my Jabra headphones or galaxy buds+ they don't connect as audio input/output devices but rather other and therefore do not output nor input sound. This started not long after the 20th of November, before this time the same devices worked completely fine. This isn't just limited to audio devices as the same thing happens with other devices I attempt to connect such as a controller. I have tried all the major fixes such as reinstalling/updating drivers, making sure all Bluetooth services are running, troubleshooting, etc. Is there a way to fix thi

Bluetooth connection error

Thank you for your input Bill. I must've been unclear in my original post. The devices don't even show up even though they are on and visible to every other searching device I have tried this with (i.e. my phone and other computer where I plugged in the
same adapter and it worked just fine).

1. Turn on your Bluetooth device and make it discoverable.
   
   The way you make it discoverable depends on the device. Check the device or visit the manufacturer's website to learn how.
2. Select the Start button > type Bluetooth > select Bluetooth settings from the list.
3. Turn on Bluetooth > select the device > Pair.
4. Follow any instructions if they appear. Otherwise, you're done and connected.

So with these being the recommended steps to take here - I cant even complete step 3.

WIndows 10 cannot connect to a bluetooth headset.

• Press Windows key + R, then type in winver.
• Click OK.

• What is the make and model of your headset and Bluetooth dongle?

Unable to connect ps4 controller via bluetooth, only shows up as "input"
