Windows 10: Bluetooth only works when I restart the computer

I have a SONY VAIO with Windows 10. The information shown for Bluetooth in Device Manager is a Qualcomm Atheros AR3012 For about 2 weeks now, every time I hibernate or put my computer to sleep, the Bluetooth stops working. It shows that it is on, it shows me my paired devices, but no device is connected or found. It only works if I reboot. Any help would be appreciated.

Bluetooth is not working — troubleshoot claims I don't even have it

I have done all the following steps:

- installed bluetooth driver from manufacturer
- hit windows update
- updated / uninstalled bluetooth items listed in Device Manager and restarted the PC
- updated / uninstalled USB drivers listed in Device Manager and restarted the PC (USB drivers automatically came back but not bluetooth)
- turned on and restarted all bluetooth support in services.msc
- conducted bluetooth troubleshooting
- conducted hardware troubleshooting

The tutorials provided are just a list of troubleshooting steps. Use only the steps which apply to you.

Since none of the troubleshooting steps here worked, I'd suggest you do a Clean install.
