  1. Bluetooth soundbar not showing in Playback devices

I connected my Bluetooth soundbar to my laptop and it shows "paired" and "connected", but when I click on the speaker icon, it's not listed under the playback devices. Only my laptop speakers. It should say "HT-S100F". Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

  2. BUG-Bluetooth Playback Device Disabled but Still Connects (sort of) at Logon

    Hi Lisa,

Thank you for being a part of Windows 10.

I appreciate you for providing details about the issue and we are happy to help you.

Please be informed that, if you have paired the Bluetooth soundbar with the system then it may be shown in the Playback devices.

I suggest you manually enable the PC speaker in the Playback Devices and check if it helps.

    Follow the below steps:

    • Right click on the speaker icon on your taskbar.
    • Select Playback Devices.
    • Click on the Playback Devices.
    • Right click on the Speakers/Headphones (PC Speakers).
    • Uncheck mark on the Show Disconnected Devices.

  3. BUG-Bluetooth Playback Device Disabled but Still Connects (sort of) at Logon

I have a new Bluetooth-capable soundbar for my TV (an LG LAS350B) and have successfully connected my Windows 10 PC to it (so I can listen to music on the PC through the soundbar). I really like this. The problem is that even though I have disconnected
and disabled the soundbar device using the Windows 10 'Playback devices' dialogue, every time I logon to my Windows 10 PC the PC "captures" the soundbar -- and disconnects the sound from the TV (via an optical connection). Meanwhile, the Playback devices
dialogue on the PC still shows the soundbar as 'Disabled'. No sound from the PC actually plays through the soundbar, because the default device is still set to the PC speakers. I realize this could be a problem with the LG soundbar -- not properly interpreting
a Bluetooth signal from the PC, but I would think if I have disabled a device in Windows 10, the PC shouldn't transmit any Bluetooth signal...

Is there something I am missing about properly 'disabling' a playback device? Thanks, in advance!

Bluetooth soundbar not showing in Playback devices

After recent Windows 10 update, my bluetooth soundbar no longer appears in list of playback devices

After the recent Windows udpate (to "Version 1511 (OS Build 10586.17)"), I am no longer able to use my bluetooth soundbar (which worked previously). I can pair to the device, connect to it, and it even appears in the device list as it normally would, but
it is not recognized by the audio subsystem as a playback device for some reason. Here's a screenshot to illustrate:
