  1. Bluetooth speaker connected under other devices.

Hi guys, so yesterday i have unpaired my Harmon Kardon Aura Studio 3 on my desktop and when i tried to reconnect it again it shows that i am connected under the “other device” section instead of the “audio” section in the bluetooth menu. I have tried repairing the speakers, updating the drivers and reinstalling them but i just can’t seem to play audio out of my speakers as it is not connected under the audio option. All help is appreciated. Thank you

    :)

  3. Bluetooth speaker not playing

    Hello Tanya,

Your Bluetooth speaker might be paired with your PC but not connected. You can try the following steps to manually connect it:

    • Make sure your Bluetooth speaker is turned on.
    • On the far right of the Windows taskbar, press and hold (right-click)
      Volume
, and then select Playback devices.
    • On the Playback tab, select the Bluetooth speaker, press and hold (or right-click) it, and then select
      Connect.
    • Select your Bluetooth speaker, and then select Set default. Music should play on your Bluetooth speaker now.

Let us know if performing the steps makes any difference.

    Bluetooth Speaker Connect

    Hi ChixRip,

Thank you for bringing this issue to us.

I am glad to work with you and help you with your concern.

I understand that connect your Surface Book to a Bluetooth Speaker.

Don't you worry ChixRip we will work together to resolve this concern

Here are the steps to connect your Bluetooth speaker to your Surface book, please see the link below:

Connect a Bluetooth device in Windows

    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/15290/...

Just an additional information, when you are unable to see your Bluetooth speaker on Bluetooth and other devices, base on personal experience here's what I do to connect it:

Step 1. Open Settings, then go to Devices then go to Bluetooth and other devices

Step 2. Make your device visible by turning on its Bluetooth, usually you can do this by just turning on your Bluetooth speaker, but it actually depends on the manufacturer

Step 3: On Bluetooth and other devices click add other Bluetooth and other devices.

When your Bluetooth speaker is visible or turned on you will be able to see it, then just click it and you are good to go.

Thank you again for working together with us ChixRip.

Please continue to have a good day

    Best Regards,
