  1. Bluetooth speaker going mute

For some reason when were I'm watching a video like on youtube and the next video comes on, it goes on mute. I resolve it by having to pause and play. This also happens to my other application like VLC media player. Another thing it does if I have to tabs playing a video and I pause one of them, the other tab will mute too.

I use Firefox (as my browsers), Ultimate Ears MEGABLAST (Bluetooth speaker) this also happen to my other recent speaker, accept for my old Samsung speaker.

  2. speakers go mute after Windows 10 upgrade

    Original Title: sound

I recently upgraded to W10. With W7 the headphones automatically came on when plugged in and the speakers go mute. Now every time I want to use my headphones or speakers I have to open the Device Manager and select the device as default device. The other
device go mute till that is set as default. I tried a few ideas suggested by the community but not successful yet. I have the latest drivers for both.

Speakers not working while bluetooth headphones are connected

Yes, and when the connected via Bluetooth the audio to the speakers are muted. Works that way with my Bose NC 700's - when they are connected via Bluetooth, my speakers connected to my DAC connected to my PC via optical cable are muted.

    Bluetooth speaker going mute

How do I mute my internal laptop speakers leaving external speakers on

Hello everyone, I'm a newbie. Windows 10. Incredibly I was innocently dusting my Del laptop keys when my computer sound (usually set on Pandora music) was muted, showing an 'x' over speaker icon on taskbar. Previously I could just click it to get it unmuted. This time it took about two hours of my time. Now I have sound coming out of both my external speakers and my internal speakers, when previously just plugging in my external speakers would mute my internal, or built-in, speakers. Is there any way I can mute my internal speakers without muting my external speakers without spending the rest of the day in troubleshooting, involving detailed examination of my motherboard and countless other steps?
    Thanks for listening!
