Windows 10: Bluetooth Speaker stops playing after 5 seconds on Win 11

I recently did the Win 11 install from Win 10. After which my bluetooth speaker stopped working it worked fine under Win 10. It plays normally for about 5 seconds and then the sound stops, even though the computer still shows it to be playing through the Bluetooth speaker. I've tried heaps of stuff, disconnecting the device, removing the device, removing drivers, updating drivers, rolling back drivers, turning off power management, setting Bluetooth support services to startup automatically. etc.Two things I have found. Bluetooth speaker not playing

Hello Tanya,

Your Bluetooth speaker might be paired with your PC but not connected. You can try the following steps to manually connect it:

• Make sure your Bluetooth speaker is turned on.
• On the far right of the Windows taskbar, press and hold (right-click)
  Volume, and then select Playback devices.
• On the Playback tab, select the Bluetooth speaker, press and hold (or right-click) it, and then select
  Connect.
• Select your Bluetooth speaker, and then select Set default. Music should play on your Bluetooth speaker now.

Let us know if performing the steps makes any difference.

 

Bluetooth Speaker No Settings Available.

Hello, So I recently purchased a Bluetooth LED Light Bulb Speaker...(it looked interesting *shrugs*)
The sound is decent for what it is, I just have one problem. If I'm watching a video on YouTube for example and it's someone talking. When they stop talking and the begin to talk again there is a popping sound and a few milliseconds are cut off...almost as if the speakers went to power saving mode while no audio is playing. This happens if there is a couple seconds of no talking to one minute of no talking it doesn't matter. The Bluetooth LED Bulb itself has no settings I can mess with and I've searched threw settings within Windows 10. The Power Management for the Bluetooth itself is set to not go to sleep which I understand this is a different setting than the actual speaker. So I'm at a loss and don't know what to do.

Any Suggestions?

 

How to play audio/music through speakers AND bluetooth speakers


I have a pair of Creative T40 speakers plugged into the 3.5mm jack on my laptop. I got hold of a bluetooth speaker and that was recognised straight-away.

I have installed a large monitor (32inch) to the laptop on which I work as well as watch movies and play games. I was wondering if I could setup that audio, be it music, gaming audio or movie audio could be played through BOTH sets of speakers.

The main T40's are on either side of the monitor and I have the bluetooth speaker behind me on a shelf. That would, kind-of, give me surround sound. Or when I have people over I could get better sound if I could just move the bluetooth speaker to a different part of the room.

Any ideas or suggestions?
