Windows 10: Bluetooth suddenly stops working and can't be restarted on Win 8.1

My Bluetooth mouse on Windows 8.1 drops for an unknow reason after a reboot. I searched extensively online /here / forums for fixes, all to no avail.I've replaced the batteryran all manner of CMD / POWERSHELL commands to restart itrestarted the computerrestarted Bluetooth Support ServiceWhen I reboot the computer it works, but only briefly, before dropping out again. When I attempt to start the Service 'Bluetooth Driver Management Service' I get the following error dialog:"The Bluetooth Driver Management Service service on Local Computer started and then stopped. Bluetooth headphones suddenly stopped working.


HI,

My Bluetooth headphones have suddenly stopped working. They were working fine this morning. The headphones are connected and I see it in devices + printers but I no longer see it in playback devices.

Any ideas?

 

Microsoft bluetooth mouse 3600 suddenly undetected


I'm using a Microsoft mouse 3600 on Windows 10, all worked fine until suddenly the mouse stopped working, it disappeared from the Bluetooth detection and can't be found anymore. I need to say Windows performed an update yesterday but it still worked fine after the update. I've tried replacing batteries, updating Bluetooth driver, went one step before the updates and nothing. I obviously tried troubleshooting about anything.The mouse does work on other laptops.

Any ideas? thanks

 

Bluetooth not working

Hi,

I would suggest you to follow the below steps.

Method 1:

• Use Windows shortcut keys Win + R to open the Run.
  
• Type services.msc and press the Enter.
  
• Double-click the Bluetooth Support service.
  
• Click the Start button if it is stopped
  
• Select the Automatic from the Startup type list.
  
• Go to the Log On tab.
  
• Tick the Local System account.
  
• Click OK.
  
• Reboot the computer.
  

Method 2:

• Open Device Manager.
  
• When Device Manager opens, locate your Bluetooth keyboard and double-click it.
  
• When Properties window opens, navigate to Power Management and uncheck Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power.
  
• Now click on OK to save changes.
