Windows 10: Bluetooth Swift Pair Unavailable

I have the Lenovo Flex 5-1470 (Type 81C9) and both it and Windows 10 is fully updated, but the Swift Pair feature is not available.

Before anyone asks, yes I did look up how to enable it, but it isn't even an option in my settings and can't be found anywhere on my computer.

I looked at the drivers on the Lenovo and Windows 10 websites, but alas, nothing was there or appeared to be incompatible. I installed one driver from Lenovo's site to see if it would work, but nothing happened and I ended up uninstalling and deleting that file.

Is the Swift Pair Bluetooth option even compatible with this laptop? Am I looking in the wrong areas? What should I do?

If this is unavailable with my system, do you have any recommendations for other bluetooth applications that can connect to wireless earbuds and things of the like?

No Swift Pair toggle in bluetooth settings?

I'm running 1909 with a bluetooth dongle and I don't see the option for swift pair in bluetooth settings. The only checkbox I see is the metered connection setting.

Does swift pair also require a supported dongle also, not just the device pairing with it?

Bluetooth Devices will not Pair


Hi,

Hopefully this is the correct Forum !

I have a Microsoft Mouse 5000 and Wedge keyboard (the early one that does not fold).
Both have been working perfectly.

Recently I paired them both successfully with a new Samsung tablet, but when I came to use them again on my laptop,
I found that I could not pair either of them.

I have spent countless hours researching this without success.

Here's where I am now:

Settings > Bluetooth & other devices does not list either of them.
Device Manager > Bluetooth has both of them showing and reports both working properly.

Device Manager reports as follows:

Notebook Mouse 5000:
No driver files are required or have been loaded
The Events tab says that further installation is required

Wedge Mobile Keyboard:
No driver files are required or have been loaded
The Events tab says that further installation is required

The 2 Service Discovery Service entries also report that further installation is required.

Can anyone suggest the way forward, please ?
