Windows 10: Bluetooth Toggle Locked on Off

I recently updated my Windows 10, and in the days since, my Bluetooth toogle has been locked in the off position. Whenever I try to turn Bluetooth on, it immediately turns off 1 second later as if it is locked on being switched off.

What I've tried so far (with no success):

• Restarting computer
• Running Bluetooth troubleshooter (it tells me there is an error with the bluetooth radio but gives no steps on how to fix)
• Unistalling the Bluetooth driver in Device Manager and restarting computer
• Searching for updates in Device Manager tab (says device is running properly)
• Going into the Run app, typing in "services.msc" and changing Bluetooth settings to automatic

I've tried each multiple times, and I'm not sure what to do now. I have a Dell Latitude E6330 and am on Windows 10.0.19041. Would appreciate it a ton if someone could help!

To Turn On or Off Toggle Keys Tone

Hi Marcela,

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community, we appreciate your interest in Windows 10.

As you have an issue with sound on toggle keys, I suggest you to change the toggle keys settings
and check.

Steps:

• Press Windows key from keyboard and type
  Toggle.
• Select Hear a tone while pressing Caps lock, Num lock and Scroll lock.
• Under Toggle keys, change the settings and check.

If the issue still persists, Run troubleshooter from
Fix sound problems and check.

Microsoft Bluetooth Keyboard Toggling Num lock/Scroll lock

Have just purchased the Microsoft Bluetooth keyboard and have been unable to work out how to toggle Num lock.

I spend much of my time writing software and being able to use the number pad is essential to navigate through code when editing.

Looking through documentation online there is no instructions on how to toggle num lock.

Using the onscreen keyboard to turn num lock off, I see that the Bluetooth keyboard is sending through a turn on numlock when pressing keys on the number pad.

Is there a way to toggle numlock on this keyboard or will I need to purchase another product if this functionality is required?

Any assistance would be appreciated.

I have lost my Bluetooth On/Off Toggle Switch


Lost my On/Off Toggle for Bluetooth

Last year whilst I was on 8.1 before my upgrade to Windows 10, I noticed that the On/Off Toggle had disappeared – see screenshot (taken when it was on 8.1).

Now I am on Windows 10 the toggle still has not reappeared.

I definitely had the On/Off option, but I think it disappeared after a routine Windows 8.1 update last year, but I cannot be sure.

Some people suggested that I should delete all the Bluetooth software on my computer, then reboot and the software will be reinstalled correctly. I have not done this because of the fear that once deleted the software to gone forever. I dont have copies of this software and it seems logical that if I delete it, then its gone.

I am using Dell Wireless 1705 Bluetooth, Microsoft Bluetooth Enumerator, Microsoft Bluetooth LE Enumerator - see Device Manager Screenshot. To turn off I now have to go into Device Manager and disable it.

My Driver is Qualcomm Atheros Communications, ver 10.0.1.1 dated 28-07-2015

I can Disable/Enable the driver, but still no toggle otherwise the Bluetooth works fine.

Any suggestions.
