Windows 10: Bluetooth Toggle Missing/Deleted Bluetooth

Hi all,After using Bluetooth on my device for around two years, a while ago it suddenly disappeared. When I run the Troubleshooter I get a message back saying that my device isn't compatible. Following other advice on here, I deleted all Bluetooth applications in my Device Manager and restarted to attempt to get Windows to reinstall the drivers. This did not work, and instead my Bluetooth has disappeared altogether from my Device Manager including after showing hidden icons.I'm on a Dell Inspiron 3593 and have tried downloading and reinstalling all suggested drivers from Dell. This included

I assume you mean the Bluetooth option in the first is missing, and the bluetooth tile is missing.

Example solved case (sounds similar): completely uninstall BT and reinstall:
Bluetooth on off switch missing.

Have a look at the driver in the Device Manager- has it just been updated (would be in Update History too - at the bottom).
Consider rolling the driver back: e.g.

Consider using the driver specified by your manufacturer rather than the one provided by Windows, as suggested here:

You can then prevent that driver being updated using the appropriate tutorial from the Tutorial section.

You have given no details of your PC unfortunately.

 

I have lost my Bluetooth On/Off Toggle Switch


Lost my On/Off Toggle for Bluetooth

Last year whilst I was on 8.1 before my upgrade to Windows 10, I noticed that the On/Off Toggle had disappeared – see screenshot (taken when it was on 8.1).

Now I am on Windows 10 the toggle still has not reappeared.

I definitely had the On/Off option, but I think it disappeared after a routine Windows 8.1 update last year, but I cannot be sure.

Some people suggested that I should delete all the Bluetooth software on my computer, then reboot and the software will be reinstalled correctly. I have not done this because of the fear that once deleted the software to gone forever. I dont have copies of this software and it seems logical that if I delete it, then its gone.

I am using Dell Wireless 1705 Bluetooth, Microsoft Bluetooth Enumerator, Microsoft Bluetooth LE Enumerator - see Device Manager Screenshot. To turn off I now have to go into Device Manager and disable it.

My Driver is Qualcomm Atheros Communications, ver 10.0.1.1 dated 28-07-2015

I can Disable/Enable the driver, but still no toggle otherwise the Bluetooth works fine.

Any suggestions.

 

Bluetooth Toggle Missing

For a while now my Bluetooth toggle has been missing.

It always stays off for a few days and then turns back on, whenever I go to Device Manager and check the events for "Intel Wireless Bluetooth" it says "Device deleted"

Does anyone know a PERMANENT fix for this? I've tried LITERALLY everything.
