  1. Bluetooth worked yesterday. Today it is MIA

Yesterday everything was working normally. This morning My Bluetooth is gone. It is not in the lower right hand tray. The symbol is gone. There is no option to turn the Bluetooth on or off. Pic below. On the Device Manager all Bluetooth options are greyed out. Pic below I have gone through and updated drivers -- I have the most recent one on my computer. I have made sure that all services are turned to trigger Automatically. I have searched every corner of my computer just to make sure that I don't have some hidden Bluetooth button turned to off. I have looked at articles on MS

Yesterday everything was working normally. This morning

    My Bluetooth is gone.

It is not in the lower right hand tray. The symbol is gone.

There is no option to turn the Bluetooth on or off. (Pic below.)

I have gone through and updated drivers -- I have the most recent one on my computer.

I have made sure that all services are turned to trigger Automatically.

I have searched every corner of my computer just to make sure that I don't have some hidden Bluetooth button turned to off.

I have looked at articles on MS for fixing code 45 errors. (nothing helped.)

I have run the Bluetooth Troubleshooter. (no help there.)

I have uninstalled the BLuetooth Adapter in the Device Manager.

Windows did not restore it automatically.

So I ran the Action > Scan for Hardware Changes. (Nothing)

So... I've gone through everything I could.
One other note, my Windows updated last night. But I did not install the update until this AM. After I found the Bluetooth problem. I hoped the new update would fix the problem. Nope. Still nothing.

    Thank you for the instructions.
I am working on a laptop. So, although I can unplug it, I can't extract the battery until I find the correct screwdriver.
Unless you know of a work around for a laptop, I'm afraid I will have to wait to try this idea.

    Thank you for your time.
I'll let you know, after I find the screwdriver.
