    Bluetooth headset not working

i just bought a Digitech Bluetooth/NFC headset today and a digitech Bluetooth4 smart dongle, the head phone works flawlessly (speakers, Microphone, Music control, calls) on my Note Edge, but when i connect it to my pc (Win10) via the dongle, i can only get
    sound and no mic,

    http://puu.sh/jGWFI/227a498501.png

i have tried disabling, re-installing, rebooting, swearing, googling, when ever i click "Headset AA2124 Hands-Free Disconnected" and select connect, it does nothing, i have tried disabling and removing the Headphones AA2124 Stereo" and trying to activate
"Headset AA2124 Hands-Free Disconnected" but that doesn't work either.

all my drivers are up to date, i have tried different USB3 and usb2 ports, i have tried power cycling, i have tried it on a Win XP and Win 7 machine, i have created a few more swear words im pretty sure didn't exist. nothing is working?

    PWEASE HALP!

  3. Tethering any Windows Mobile 8 or beyond Cell Phone to a secondary network source, hard wired.

Come November 2016, who can suggest a fairly recent Phone model capable of connecting to the internet

without using any of its independent mobile networking features...., instead using a wire?

I have a samsung Omnia Win Mobile 6.5 that I can also connect via USB cable, to a desktop, then

use the desktop's network connection to browse the web transparently on my Samsung WinMob6.5.

I need a newer WinMobile OS, minimum WinMobile8,

that can do the same as my old Omnia Cell Phone , NETWORK WISE, called Reverse Tethering rather than Tethering,

Omnia i900 was once called a Smart Phone too.

Also the new Phone must support BlueTooth4Smart,

support for stand alone GPS would be nice but no deal breaker in the search of a new Phone.

    Thank you for your time.

    PS:

Allowed Phone models answering my tethering demand (in view of some nifty fitness APP's requirements) feature
    at least:

    > Windows 8 ( see remark "Reverse Tethering..." below )

Editing after being reminded by automated Forum Push message:

Through other fora I learned Microsoft is designing or already selling

Windows Mobile 10 with "USB OTG", which is supposed to be a turbo charged version

    of the old Reverse Tethering
I am interested in seeing coming to live on Win8mob or Win8.1 mob,

those being significanly more affordable and sensible to my needs.

By 7 december 2016, I have not found a TESTED WinMob8 or higher compact Microsoft/Nokia Smart Phone

that can perform reverse tethering with a PC's internet connection.... I still need answers or test results.

If USB OTG is indeed reintroduced in WindowsMobile10,

after reverse tethering had been dropped several iterations of Windows Mobile,

then it seems to me a Win8/8.1 mobile-patch is warranted, if not secretly possible after all.... pending,

perhaps the Draschbacher APP mentioned below can be ported to WinMobile8

and then tested by you guys for me.

    > Android 4.4 (
come 30 Nov 2016, Samsung Support acknowledges their
    Android 4.4 & beyond specimens

to boast this sought for feature,

but can not provide written proof of their claim,

suggesting to consult blogs for reference instead,

furthermore, Samsung recommends looking into Galaxy A or J models for my intended purpose.
    )

    By 5 December 2016,

heated forum debate and Moderator-interventions with the usual forum clogging filtered out a

message pointing to Florian Drashbacher ANDROID 4 or higher APP,

    Reverse Tethering NoRoot Pro
(paid), and a free version of it ,

again no one seems to have tested it and posted results to me about
    NoRoot

working on a Low Entry Smart Phone.

I don't have an Android, I need to know which models this APP

(free or commercial version) works on,

you guys need to test it for me on your phones,

if you have a low entry and compact one with Android 4.4. Notwithstanding,

if you have a Samsung Android 4.4 that can do it out of the box
    without the NoRoot app.

    > iOS 7 ( 30 Nov 2016, Overseas Apple Tech Support is unaware of the availability of such a feature,

plays safe and holds it a negative.

Furthermore, AppleTechSup claims absence of existence of most likely required facilitating application

on any other platform than a mac, if at all supported.

This story is backed up by USA Apple Tech Sup the same day,

on "BT4Smart capable iPhones", iPhone 4S or beyond,

Internet access only via WiFi, no cabled reverse tethering to use a networked PC's internet is allowed. )

    + BlueTooth4 ...
maybe + full featured (unassisted) GPS.

The more portable the model the better, tablets are definately out.

I posted a very lengthy QUESTION on the tech section under the heading

    "Tethering Lumia 500 520 532 "

which is answered adequately I was forcibly made to believe, by 93tid,

but that discussion dealt with only one Phone model.

I hope the claimed absence of the feature sought for in that model has not spread to other models.

(In December I learn about intention of including "USB OTG" on Windows Mobile 10 phones,

the tartgeted Lumia532 can only handle Mob8.1 as I understand it.)

    Bluetooth?

Jesse, check device manager. It will show up in either there or maybe in the network

  5. Thanks, Dude. Unfortunately, that was my Desktop PC that I was referring to and it doesn't have Bluetooth. Now, to my Laptop. On the Acer website, it doesn't have the supported drivers yet published for Windows 10. But, it does have the drivers supported for Windows 8.

Should I download the Windows 8 drivers, or wait until the Windows 10 drivers are released on the website?

I would try the win 8 drivers. Looking around others have had issues with Bluetooth, so if the 8 drivers don't work it may be a while to get a fix. A big update is coming I believe by the end of the month. Good luck, let us know if it works for you.
