Windows 10: BlueTooth

Bluetooth is a radio, i.e. a hardware device, so probably easier to just disable it in Device Manager rather than fiddle around in the the registry:

You may not be aware of the fact that BlueTooth can work up to a mile away.

In other words, someone can be outside of your structure and be manipulating your computer, installing spyware and literally stealing your information.

The simple solution is to use USB keyboard, mouse, headphones, etc.

You can disable Bluetooth, but if you turn off your computer, BlueTooth will be enabled.

How do you uninstall BlueTooth at the registry.

It did not work. The problem is similar to problems other users have had e.g., with N70 (Gen.error).

hmm...yes it is true that you can extend the range of BT to miles, BUT that requires a HUGE antenna and strong output power. Which in turn completely kills the purpose of having BT for short range communication at slower rates and WiFi for long range and fast communication. Laptop, Mobile, PC and consumer peripheral only extends to about 10-20meters, and in free field, with a lot of luck up to 100m except for BT5.0 which can reach up to 1Km. But enough of this...


You can disable any hardware in Windows Device Manager. That configuration will stick even after reboot.
