Windows 10: bluetooth

in need of help setting my bluetooth up on my hp elitebook 8470p laptop.
tried the broadcom drivers direct from hp and it showed that no device found so no install, on 3rd party driver site i found atheros drivers which i installed successfully however theres no software downloaded so not sure how to get it working.
fresh install of windows 10 enterprise x64.

It did not work. The problem is similar to problems other users have had e.g., with N70 (Gen.error).

I'll try the application I found from the CK 15-W support page (

Windows 10 has built-in Bluetooth support, right click on the Bluetooth icon in the system tray for options. You may need to go into Settings - Devices - Bluetooth to set things up initially

I have an HP laptop that did not have BT pre-installed. I bought a BT dongle which was detected and installed by Windows Update. As for your situation, does Device Manager list any BT driver ? What are you trying to connect ? Some devices come with software. Have you tried any of the Atheros or Broadcom BT drivers on the middle of this page and let Windows Update install latest version ? -
