    Blurred Icon issue in Explorer after Windows updates


    I have noticed that some of my Explorer folder icon thumbnails have started to blur. This started after some recent Windows updates, most notably the final batch of 22H2 updates and the new 23H2 main update.When Windows is started the icons look fine. What appears to set off the blurring is when I transfer files to an external hard drive or use Photoshop to edit existing photos. I have tried several different hard drives to see if that was the issue, but it all has the same effect in Explorer in blurring the icons.I have tried all and every "fix" on the net to fix this issue from amending scre

    After approximately two weeks of restarting after trying this..

    and...
    Default File Associations - Restore in Windows 8
    I was frustrated at first as i thought it's not working with me, but voilà it did after all!
