Windows 10: Blurry text & Frozen frames Kind of

Hello. So I've been using this new computer I have gotten recently, and it has been doing some pretty weird bugs. The text on some apps has been going blurry and on at least 2 apps have had this glitch where the app will freeze on a frame, but if I hover my mouse over any of the frozen frame, the part of where I have my mouse/where my mouse has been will be unfrozen. And as for the blurry text part, if I move my mouse around, the text will become unblurry for a bit, before going blurry again.Example of blurry text/images

Text blurrying out casually?

I understand that you're having issues with blurry text on your new monitor, and I'm really sorry about that. I will try to help you in the best possible way.

In some cases, the problem can be caused by a loose or faulty cable.

See if the cable is tight on the monitor and also on the computer. If the problem persists, consider replacing the cable.

I suggest initially that you try to perform the steps below:

Step 1

Use ClearType

Open the menu and search for "Adjust ClearType Text" and click trim to open.

Follow the steps on the screen that will open.

step 2

Click "Start Menu" and click "Settings" > "System".

In "System", click "Display", the option "Change the size of text, apps and other items", set it to 100%. If it already is, go to the next step.

step 3

Open Windows 10/11 search and type fix blurry apps. In the list of options, click Fix apps that are blurry settings.

This will open the Advanced Scaling Settings page.

You need to enable the toggle button behind 'Let Windows try to fix apps so they aren't blurry'

step 4

Update the video driver by the manufacturer.

Press Win + R keys and type MSinfo32.

Check the manufacturer and access the website, download the video driver and install it.

If you have an NVIDIA or RADEON graphics card, search for the card model and install the latest driver version.

Blurry Text in some apps.

Try these steps also:

Click on search bar

Search "Fix Apps That Are Blurry"

Open the application

Turn On "Let windows try to fix apps so they are not blurry"

Then Apply

Thanks for the suggestion, I have tried it this morning. The result is the same, on both of my monitors. Since you have this ASUS monitor tell me, please : does the title bar of the "Device Manager", for example, display the same as the rest of the text in the Device Manager, in your system? If you will look at my screenshots from Windows 10 you will observe that the title bar looks different than the rest, below. The rest of the text appears kind of "bolded", kind of blurry, not as crisp and crystal clear, as it displays on Windows 7. Can you please post a screenshot of your Device Manager?


Finally, have I posted this thread of mine in the wrong section? Too few replies I get - too bad, because I'm only trying to understand what the problem is. I've posted on the "General Discussion" so that more people would read my thread.
