    5800ExpressMusic BMW bluetooth not compatible

    Car: BMW E60 (2005). With integrated bluetooth

    Phone: 5800 expressMusic

    When I try to pair it:

    The BMW device appears in the devices list.

    But when I select this, instead of ask me for a pairing code, it says "Waiting for BMW".

    And the BMW asks for the code you introduced in the phone.

    !!! but the phone didn't ask for the code !!!

    It looks like a software bug. It has no sense to jump over the step of asking for pairing code.

    This looks as if the phone where sending a pairing key itself, but... what key?

    Nokia 6700 Classic - BMW Car Kit

    I have just upgraded from a Nokia 6230i to a 6700 Classic. A very nice handset.



    However for the old 6230i I have a neat built in BMW armrest cradle which charged the phone and most imporanttly connected it to the car's external antenna.



    There is no equivalent BMW built in cradle available for the 6700 and reception in the car, relying on bluetooth and the phone's antenna, is unreliable.



    Can anyone suggest a cost effective means of enabling the 6700 to connect to the car's external antenna.



    e.g. Is there a lead available to connect te 6700 to the old cradle?
