Windows 10: Boot drive filled

Discus and support Boot drive filled in Windows 10 Ask Insider to solve the problem; I have a 256gb nvme ssd to boot windows and a select few other applications (steam, epic games launcher, corsair icue, etc...) and a select other few...     Boot drive filled


    I have a 256gb nvme ssd to boot windows and a select few other applications (steam, epic games launcher, corsair icue, etc...) and a select other few applications that are relatively small, somehow I only have 16 gb left even though I know I have almost nothing installed on it, I keep my files managed and organised so nothing should be on it. Any tips?

    C drive space filling

    Have you check if Windows is currently downloading an update?

    You can try the suggested steps on this article:

    Can't boot from DVD drive

    Is your controller in RAID/AHCI modes? If so, the DVD drive will be listed as a separate device in the list of available boot devices, not as "CDROM". Remember that when setting boot device priority. Otherwise, read the manual to see which hotkey during POST brings up the boot menu that lets you select which device to boot from. Even here, the drive will be listed separately, and not as "CDROM".
